Goodmill Participated in the 5G Routes Trials

16.05.2022

On the 12th of May the 5G Routes project held a trial day at a racetrack near Riga, Latvia. Goodmill Systems participated by providing multichannel routers for specific use cases.

The idea of 5G Routes is to perform advanced field trials of connected and autonomous mobility (CAM) for cross-border use cases in the Latvia-Estonia-Finland border areas. The trials aim at validating the latest 5G features and thus boosting the widespread adaptation of these technologies in road vehicles, trains, and ships.

“We are always happy to be a part of cutting-edge research, but especially heart-warming is to see how the multichannel technology improves the user experience and enables new things to be done on 5G networks. The day was a success in all these accounts.”, comments Topias Uotila, CEO of Goodmill.

Goodmill Systems is not a formal partner of the consortium, but supports the critical trials related to our technology and expertise. The consortium partners include, for example, Airbus, Atos, Ericsson, LMT, and Telia.
