Goodmill Systems Joins the Oulu University 6G Flagship Ecosystem

To participate in creating the connectivity solutions of the future Goodmill Systems has joined the 6G Flagship ecosystem. The 6G Flagship is a research program run by the University of Oulu and it invites organizations to participate in the open ecosystem. The 6G Flagship has three main goals:

  1. Supporting industry in the finalization of 5G.
  2. Developing the fundamental technology needed to enable 6G.
  3. Speeding up digitalization in society.
“The concept, vertical and pilot driven approach makes the program very interesting for us to participate in and we definitely share all of the goals of the program.”, says Topias Uotila, CEO, Goodmill Systems.

In relation to the participation, Goodmill Systems is preparing its first concepts and visions of 6G to be published later this year.

The University of Oulu is an international science university which creates innovation for the future, well-being, and knowledge through research and education. Founded in 1958, the university community is 13 000 students and 2900 employees strong, and one of the biggest and the most multidisciplinary universities in Finland. The university consists of eight faculties and many specialized research units.
