Goodmill Systems Selected to Offer Solutions for Autonomous Driving in the United Arab Emirates Market

Goodmill Systems has been selected to participate in a business accelerator targeting to market and provide solutions for autonomous driving in the United Arab Emirates market. Work on the accelerator is starting and will have its highlight with an in-person visit to the Emirates in late March 2022.

“We have a long history of operating in the Gulf region with our public safety customers. As we have been developing our business with unmanned systems, we are very happy to have this structure and support to capitalize on bringing these two areas together by accessing the autonomous driving segment of the market in the Emirates.”, comments Topias Uotila, CEO of Goodmill Systems

You can learn more about Goodmill’s work on autonomous driving for example from the work done for the 5G MOBIX program.

This accelerator is run by the Internationalisation for Autonomous Driving Actors (INTonomous) project funded from the European Union’s COSME Programme. INTonomous is a 24-month project started in September 2020 and aimed at supporting the launch, the initial implementation and the first development of the INTonomous Internationalisation Strategy. The project gathers now 6 European Automotive & ICT clusters: Autoklastr (Czech Republic), Baden-Württemberg: Connected e.V. (Germany), Media Evolution (Sweden), NextMove (Mov’eo, France), Torino Wireless (Italy), and Zone Cluster (Hungary).

During the INTonomous project, these clusters will test and carry out a first implementation of INTonomous Internationalisation Strategy in three identified Target countries: 1. USA, 2. Canada and 3. United Arab Emirates. INTonomous will build partnerships with international stakeholders and support European Autonomous Driving SMEs and start-ups in initiating business collaborations in Autonomous driving target markets.
